The role of Project Engineer is typically a supervisory position. They delegate tasks to junior engineers and any other employee involved in the engineering process. A fair portion of their work takes place in a typical office environment, but part of their job involves being present on the project site and ensuring everything is going to plan.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manages and serves as the Team Leader for all projects assigned by management
  • To carry out inspection and testing on all works carried done by subcontractor in accordance to standards, specifications and consultant’s drawings.
  • Implementation control quality in all construction activities.
  • Monitor and manage projects to comply with safety, quality, productivity, and profitability requirements.
  • Responsible for management of project specific deliverables.
  • Attend all project meeting, site meetings and tool box meeting.
  • Discussing and solving complex problems with suppliers and customers.
  • Liaison with relevant authorities, consultant and contractors to ensure smooth implementation and quality of M&E aspects of the project.
  • To establish and maintain PSSB’s administrative procedure as they relate to the project.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Master’s Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field (Fire Protection Industry) is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/ Construction/ Structural or equivalent.
