Overview
It is the responsibility of the Project Manager to organize, supervise and coordinate the project and the onsite staff (daily communication with superintendents on each operating project is expected) in order to complete the work on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified. It is also his/her responsibility to serve as the Company representative. In the performance of this function, it is the Project Manager’s responsibility to protect and promote PSSB interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to execute his/her duties and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- To provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with all those involved in the project, particularly with the Main Con and the Architect.
- To meet at regular intervals with the Client and Architect and to keep them currently advised on the status of cost versus budget and the progress of the work
- To coordinate the functions of the estimating, scheduling, purchasing, accounting and operations departments as they relate to the progress and completion of the project under his/her direction
- To have a complete and thorough knowledge and understanding of the Contract Documents, the General Contract and the Subcontracts
- To see that all drawings and specifications are examined, prior to beginning construction, for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and through a meeting with the Architect, bring them to a resolution
- To ensure that requisitions for subcontracts and purchase orders are prepared and submitted on a timely basis
- To see that the Project Schedule, incorporating dates and times for Owner decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication, and field installation, is established and maintained
- To see that the prescribed quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project
- To organize and train the on-site staff to the requirements of the project, and to assure that those individuals whose functions require the knowledge and understanding of certain documents and procedures, receive and understand that information
- To assure that each individual understands his/her own responsibilities of those whom he/she is working
- To utilize skills to run multiple projects as efficiently as possible
- To establish and maintain PSSB’s administrative procedure as they relate to the project.
Job Requirements
- Minimum degree or diploma in mechanical Engineering.
- 3-4 years working experience
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills

Project Engineer
Overview
The role of Project Engineer is typically a supervisory position. They delegate tasks to junior engineers and any other employee involved in the engineering process. A fair portion of their work takes place in a typical office environment, but part of their job involves being present on the project site and ensuring everything is going to plan.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages and serves as the Team Leader for all projects assigned by management.
- To carry out inspection and testing on all works carried done by subcontractor in accordance to standards, specifications and consultant’s drawings.
- Implementation control quality in all construction activities.
- Monitor and manage projects to comply with safety, quality, productivity, and profitability requirements.
- Responsible for management of project specific deliverables.
- Attend all project meeting, site meetings and tool box meeting.
- Discussing and solving complex problems with suppliers and customers.
- Liaison with relevant authorities, consultant and contractors to ensure smooth implementation and quality of M&E aspects of the project.
- To establish and maintain PSSB’s administrative procedure as they relate to the project.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Master’s Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field (Fire Protection Industry) is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering – Mechanical/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
Project Administrator
Overview
The Project Admin is expected to perform a variety of project management and administrative duties to support the company in creating efficiency and effectiveness for our clients. General duties include, but are not limited to; scheduling, report preparation, professional writing and on-line content management. Attention to detail is a must to insure all work is accurate and timely. Anyone performing in this role must have exceptional communication, computer and organizational skills and be able to balance numerous tasks at one time.

Site Supervisor
Overview
The role of site supervisor to oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team. The Site Supervisor’s responsibilities include ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees. To be successful as a Site Supervisor, he/she should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations. Ultimately, an outstanding Site Supervisor should be able to interpret building plans as well as demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
- Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.

Site Safety Supervisor
Overview
A construction site safety supervisor is responsible for monitoring or overseeing construction sites and making sure that workers within the environment adhere to government regulations/standards regarding safety. QS Assistant
Overview
The Quantity Surveyor Assistant will be tasked with analysing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers. To be successful as a Quantity Surveyor Assistant, the candidate should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding Quantity Surveyors are not only great at analysing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle all matters related to QS studies contract management, tendering (pre-post contract and tender process), estimation of cost and sources, site visit, liaise with sub-con preparing and certifying progress claims and payment
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecast and variances, scope of working along with cost reporting
- Process sound knowledge of market rates, cost, control, preparation of claims and site evaluation
- To read/ drawings/plan well and processes good negotiation skills with suppliers/contractor on quotation on procurement

Drafter
Overview
A drafter responsible for creating a 3D models of products in modelling software. A few of the main duties of a drafter are creating models in CAD, help design new products, create standard models, and edit any changes based on customer preference. They also have to specify correct dimensions and material
Job Responsibilities
- Handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.
- Create drawings and models from written and verbal specifications obtained from Project Engineer.
- Work with Engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and design documentation.
- Work closely with Designers, Drafters, and Engineers to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.
- Complete project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule.
- Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain all revisions of project drawings.

BIM Manager
Overview
BIM (Building Information Modelling) managers act as collaborators between the client’s team, design team, contractor team and supply chain. As a BIM Manager, he/she will oversee the production of project information models which contain 3D visualisations that bring together data, drawings and schedules associated with the design and construction phase of a project.
Job Responsibilities
- Acting as the intermediary between designers, clients and architects so that projects remain efficient and effective.
- Working closely with BIM coordinators, who are responsible for producing project information models.
- Ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project.
- Completing supply chain assessments.
- Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances.
- Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programmes.

- Minimum 3 years’ working experience preferably from a building and construction industry in a similar position.
- Minimum 2 completed projects in BIM designing.

BIM Modeler
Overview
The BIM modeller usually responsible to provide CAD drafting or BIM modelling and design support. A successful BIM Modeler should have an enthusiastic and innovative personality, as well as the necessary drawing skills in using REVIT software to construct the 3D modelling.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the implementation of fire engineering designs to produce quality 3D shop drawings and 3D as-built drawings.
- Responsible to coordinate and manage all the Revit models.
- Responsible to create REVIT families, base models, CAD blocks and clash detection.
- Responsible to attend regular meetings with a client and consultant to provide update on project progress.
- Collaborate with project team and consultant for related engineering drawings.
Job Requirements
